Barrister Style Bookcase New Build
Custom designed and crafted barrister style bookcase. Made out of solid pine project panels to specifically fit the customer's space. Doors were constructed using tung and groove boards from Home Depot that were cut down to 2" wide strips using the tung edge.
The base was made out of Red Oak. DIY Wife tutorial was followed for design and build process.
Door Slides: Rockler 14 1/2" Barrister Bookcase Door Slides
Paint: Restoration Bronze by Melange Paints
Base stain: Minwax Espresso followed by Varathane Black sealed with Varathane's Oil Base Polyurethane in Satin
Hardware: Brainerd Carolina Arch Pulls 3 3/4"
Glass: 18" x 24" glass from Lowe's cut down to fit
