Lowe's Cabinet Credenza

Credenza made from 2 x Lowe's upper kitchen cabinets. Once the cabinets were combined as one they were wrapped with solid red oak boards. The base was also made out of Red Oak. DIY Wife tutorial was followed for design and build process. The entire credenza was stained with Minwax Espresso followed by Varathane Black. Then it was sealed with General Finishes High Performance Water Based Topcoat - Satin

Inside liner was added to the shelves. New Champagne Bronze pulls were added.

Started out with 2 x 30" stock cabinets from Lowe's. Tip Lowes has Red Oak Cabinets, Home Depot carries Beech wood. The Lowe's ones are better and match the solid red oak.

After making the new base and attaching it, this is what it looked like before stain.

I hand sanded everything to 180 grit to make sure no swirl marks before applying the stain. It took me a couple tries but practice makes perfect :-)
