Picnic table painted bombe chest
This Bombe Chest is a show stopper!
It was first painted with 2 coats of BEHR Picnic Table Interior Chalk Decorative Paint. Then sealed with 1 coat Minwax Polycrylic Clear Flat Water-Based Polyurethane.
Next I antiqued with Valspar's Antiquing Glaze. I brushed this on and then used a wet rag to wipe off. I only let the glaze stay on the piece for 1 min before wiping off. I went back in and dry brushed this glaze where I wanted it to be darker.
Finally added DecoArt Metallics Antique Bronze Paint to the edges and tops of the appliques to give it some highlight!
Sealed with Minwax Polycrylic Clear Flat Water-Based Polyurethane.
